Mushrooms are a nutritious edible fungus and an ideal ingredient for various dishes. Dried mushrooms can not only retain their fragrance and shape, but also be stored for a long time. Mushrooms should be baked in an edible mushroom dryer within 6 hours after harvesting. If refrigeration conditions are available, the storage time can be appropriately extended. As an old-fashioned company of edible mushroom dryers, today I will share with you the steps of mushroom drying process.
1. When drying edible mushrooms, they should be separated by size, thickness, and dryness. The mushroom stems should be placed flat on the drying screen with the bottom layer facing up, and the thick mushrooms with low water content should be placed on the bottom layer, and the thin and small mushrooms with high water content should be placed on the upper layer.
2. Initial drying period of edible mushroom dryer: The starting temperature should not be too high or too low, and should be controlled at 35°C. The wetter mushrooms can be 30°C. The air inlet and exhaust holes should be fully opened, and the return temperature hole should be closed. Dry for 3 to 4 hours. Generally, the temperature rises by 1 to 2°C per hour, and the temperature should gradually rise to about 40°C.
3. Constant drying period of edible fungus dryer: After 4-5 hours of drying, the temperature should gradually rise to about 50℃, about 2℃ per hour, and the air inlet and exhaust holes should be closed by one-third. This stage is generally dried for 3-4 hours.
4. Drying period: After 8-9 hours of drying, the temperature should gradually rise to 55-60℃, at which time the air inlet and exhaust holes should be closed by half, and the return temperature hole should be opened by half. This stage is generally dried for 1-2 hours.
5. Complete drying period: In the last hour, the temperature should be controlled at 60-65℃, the air inlet and exhaust holes should be closed, and the return temperature holes should be opened, so that the hot air circulates up and down, which can ensure the gills and color and increase the aroma.
The edible fungus dryer is suitable for baking mushrooms such as shiitake mushrooms, mushrooms, tea tree mushrooms, Agaricus bisporus, winter mushrooms, Ganoderma lucidum, wild vegetables, etc., to achieve the purpose of energy saving, environmental protection, green, fast, intelligent and high-quality processing of mushrooms.
