Hibiscus flowers are prone to discoloration, which can reduce the total flavonoid content of the active ingredient to as little as 1%. Therefore, timely drying is crucial.

Currently, hibiscus dryer are primarily used for drying, effectively ensuring the quality and active ingredients of hibiscus flowers. Let's discuss the drying process in detail.

1. Color Preservation and Setting Stage.

Set the temperature to 40°C and the humidity to 30% for 2 hours. This stage effectively maintains a uniform color inside and outside the hibiscus flower buds.

2. Strong Dehumidification Stage.

Set the temperature to 50°C and the humidity to 15% for 4-5 hours. Observe the humidity level during the drying process. If it remains unchanged for an extended period, activate strong dehumidification immediately to prevent excessive moisture content in the hibiscus dryer, which could affect the quality of the finished product.

3. Secondary Dehumidification Stage.

Set the temperature to 60°C and the humidity to 10% for 3-4 hours. After this stage, the moisture content of the hibiscus flower buds reaches the ideal level.

4. High-Temperature Drying

Set the temperature to 65-68°C and the humidity to 10% for 1-2 hours. This is the final drying stage, at which point the hollyhock's moisture content has reached the required level for long-term storage.
