1. Choosing the appropriate cycle
When drying forsythia in a dryer, it's important to select the appropriate cycle based on the plant's characteristics. Generally, the drying temperature should be kept below 50°C. Using excessively high temperatures or aggressive drying cycles can easily cause the plants to deform, become damaged, or lose nutrients.
2. Preparation
Before drying forsythia, clean the plants of any impurities and accumulated water and arrange them neatly. To ensure the quality of the forsythia, it's best to choose relatively dry weather or pre-treat the plants using indoor drying equipment.
3. Placement
When placing the forsythia, ensure proper spacing between the plants to prevent them from squeezing and deforming. Also, place the plants in a well-ventilated mesh bag or drying bag to ensure proper circulation of hot air for optimal drying results.
4. Precautions
When drying forsythia, please note the following:
1. Avoid excessive drying time. It's recommended to limit each drying session to approximately 20-30 minutes.
2. To prevent the forsythia from wearing out or deforming due to friction, it is recommended to use a larger drying bag or mesh bag and reduce the number of forsythias in the bag.
3. During the drying process, pay close attention to the drying temperature and time to avoid damage to the forsythias.
