Dragon Fruit Dryer

Introduction of dragon fruit dryer:
        The dragon fruit has rich nutrient, and it has plant protein, anthocyanins, rich vitamin and water-soluble dietary fiber that other plants have few. The ripe dragon fruits will be sweet and juicy, and in the natural growth, the dragon fruit will be mature at Summer to Autumn. Large quantity of pitaya need special drying equipment to process.
        The dragon fruit dryer machine, made from Gongyi Lantian Machanical Plant, is a new type high efficiency and energy-saving dryer. Its working principle is using a small amount of electric energy, through the action of conpressor and evaporator, it will transfer the outside air to high temperature and high pressure air to dry the dragon fruits. Through this circulating work, the pitaya dryer can make the chamber temperature to 40-85℃.  We design different scale of fig fruit dryers for customers option.

The principle of dragon fruit drying equipment:
        Our pitaya drying machine is using inverse cano principle, absorbing heat air and transferring them to the drying chamber to realize the increase of temperature in the dryer. Our pitaya dryer is composed of compressor, heat exchanger, flow controller and heat absorber, and these devices form a cycling system (main drying device and drying chamber). Under the action of compressor, the refrigerant will be flowing circulating in this system. It will finish the process of pressure rising and temperature rising in the compressor (temperature can be up to 115℃), then release high temperature source to heat the air in the chamber, and at the same time, it will be cooled and translated into liquid. When it runs out the dragon fruit drying machine, the liqud will aborb hot air quickly and be tanslated to gas again. At the same time, the temperature will be dropped to -20~-30℃, and the heat absorber will transfer the heat source to refrigerant. And the refrigerant tranport the heating source from the air to drying chamber constantly and circularly to heat the air temperature in the chamber.
        Like the air-conditioner and heat pump units, when the pitaya drying machine is working, it will absorb the energy QA from low temperature medium in the evaporator. Itself will consume some energy which is compressor consumption energy QB. It will release heat QC in the condenser through medium circulation system. QC=QA+QB. Then the dragon fruit dryer working efficiency is (QB+QC)/QB. While, the heating efficiency of other heating device will be less than 1, so the heating efficiency of our high temperature dragon fruit drying equipoment is higher than other heating equipment. It can be seen that using our dragon fruit drying machine can save energy, also can reduce the discharging of emission of CO2 and other pollutants, to achieve the effect of energy conservation and emission reduction.

The process of pitaya dryer:
        1. Choose good pitaya.
        2. Remove the thorns of the skin.
        3. Slice the pitaya with 0.5cm thickness.
        4. Put the slices on the trays, and then put the trays into the drying chamber.
        5. Start the pitaya drying equipment with 45-58℃ for drying 12 hours totally.
