Longan Dryer

Introduction:
        The longan dryer, manufactured in Gongyi Lantian Machanical Plant, is a kind of drying equipment making use of air compressing principle to improve the temperature. The feature of our longan dryer: no need to burn any fuel, automatic running, enviromental protection, energy saving, etc. We can customize the different scale of logan dryers machine for dealing with 1-20ton capacity per day.

Working process:
        1. The first drying is useing high temperature for baking, and the temperature need to be controlled at 65℃ for 6-8 hours, and middle temperature need 60℃. The whole drying time will be about 30 hours, until the longan shell turn to hard in the chamber.
        2. After a period of time of setting aside, the internal moisture of the initial dried longan will spread out gradually. The fruit pulp surface will be wetter than that after initial baking. So the longans need to be dried for second time.
        3. Separate the big and small initial dried longan for drying respectively. And the temperature also will be controlled at 60℃ for drying 4-6 hours. When the longan stem can be pushed off with finger touch lightly, we finish the second drying. And at this time, longan fruit pulp is fine wrinkles, dark brown color, surface is dry without juice outflow if finger press, and shell crack easily. And this condition is moderate drying and its drying rate is 33-36%.
Quality requirement to dried longan:
        Shells are easily crack with finger press lightly, and the fruit pulp is dark brown but shiny with wrinkles, and the kenel is gray color and can be bit to crack. Also, the dried longan must be of complete pedicel, smooth appearance, non scorched flavour, non mildew, non damage from worms, and the shells breaking rate must be less than 5%.
