Tobacco Dryer

The application of our new type tobacco leaf dryer in totacco industry:
        Tobacco quality is the basis of the cigarette quality and the most important limiting factor. At present, the key problem of tobacco material production in China is that the aroma quality can’t meet the industrial requirement of good quality cigarette. The drying equipment and drying processing condition plays a very important role. In recent years, due to the falling behind drying equipment, the processing technology cann’t be guaranteed, thereby cause the low tobacco quality and farmer 20-25% lost. Tobacco leaf drying is a large heat consuming process. The ordinary drying chamber use coal to heat, and the heat utilization rate is low, also the coal consumtion is high and will cause serious environmental pollution.
        In recent years, with the development of modern tobacco agriculture, improved drying chamber and replacement of coal source become the more and more attention issues in tobacco leaf production. The heat pump, as a kind of environment protecting heating device, has been spread in developped countries. In order to make the heat pump and drying technology used for drying tobacco leaf, some Chinese scientific and technological personnel and enterprises have made some attempt, and the results show that the heat pump drying machine can effectively utilize the heat energy in the air instead of the coal source for drying process, and the dried tobacco leaf quality is improved obviously, and drying cost is decreased largely.

Tobacco leaf drying process:
        1. The principle of harvesting mature tobacco leaf.
        According to the tobacco leaf looks in the field, appropriately harvest the mature tobacco leaf. the tobacco leaf after harvesting can’t be exposure or extrusion to ensure the quality of fresh tobacco.
        2. The tobacco leaf harvesting time.
        The tobacco leaf picking time is better in the morning or forenoon, which is better for maturity of recognition. Pick tobacco leaf in the morning will be better for moisturizing and turning yellow. After tobacco mature, if encounter rain, the tobacco leaf can be picked after rain to avoid turns green. If the raining time is long, and also turns green, the leaf should be picked after it turns yellow.
        3. Tieing and loading the tobacco leaf reasonably.
        Tieing: classify the tobacco leaves ot ensure the same rod with same quality of tobacco leaves. Each rod can tie 100-120 pieces of tobacco leaves, and each two pieces are back to back. The big leaves, high moisture leaves and middle leaves will be tied sparsely, and small leaves and upper leaves will be tied densely.
        Loading: load tobacco leaves should be not crowd and it will be better for ventilation. Each rod need 20-25cm distance, and the bottom should load low maturity of tobacco leaves.
